Spring 2021

We've been enjoying the beautiful spring weather with great walks locally and elsewhere.

We found a great walking path in Thatcher Woods near our house.

A great open field there for flying kites!

Oliver.

Some mild nights in early spring for us to branch out to our backyard deck and make smoores.

With vaccinated Grandparents, we were able to visit the Doobays for the first time in over a year!  What a treat!

We also got some fun cousin time.  Oliver and Frank.

Fun craft time for these cousins.

Gloria with Grandma and Papa.

It was our spring break, so we followed up our visit to the Doobays in Iowa with a visit to some places with indoor pools.  Here, at a hotel with an indoor pool near Iowa City.

Then a visit to a very fun water park in Dubuque.

Dubuque has a nice museum for the Mississippi River that we visited.

Lots of great days this Spring to enjoy Lindberg Park.

Amy won a wonderful teaching award from the Loyola Stritch Medical School for her amazing teaching!

We enjoyed the ceremony from home and cheered on our hero.

Way to go, Amy!

Spring brings soccer.  Gloria's Saturday scrimmages have been a delight for all of us to enjoy, cheering on Gloria and enjoying the fresh air.

More great Spring walks!  We headed back to a favorite place:  Morton Arboretum.  Spring colors there are great.
