Spring Break 2024 -- Washington, DC: Days 4-6

Day Four of our DC Adventure started with a One Act Play at Ford's Theater, where Lincoln was assassinated.

Next up was a visit to the National Portrait Gallery.

Three crazy guys.

We had a memorable visit to the Bureau of Printing and Engraving.  We saw where money is made!

We had an adventurous visit to the Spy Museum and picked some new ideas!

More Metro Fun.

Day 5 started with a scheduled tour of the US Capitol!

Next up, a schedule visit to the White House!

We enjoyed a good meal at an immigration advocacy restaurant -- new tastes and fun!

Next up:  The National Air and Space Museum on the National Mall!

Star Trek Enterprise model!

Fun on the National Mall.

We had a special visit to the church where Grandma and Papa Doobay were married in 1968, St. Stephen Martyr, right near where our hotel was in Foggy Bottom.

These guys got a thrill walking by the Tajikastan Embassy.

We were very happy to start Day 6 at the Library of Congress.

Oliver had one mission:  mind the Dunkin Doughnuts at the Library of Congress.  It was deep in the underground tunnnels, and somehow were were allowed and able to find it.  Quite the coup!

US Supreme Court.

We walked through Union Station.

We checked in at St. Matthew's Cathedral on Good Friday.

We enjoyed an amazing seafood meal at Old Ebbit's Grill.

We ate more oysters than we thought possible!

We headed to the airport via the Metro.  What a great Spring Break!
