Early 2024

Our 2024 got off to a great start with a visit from Marc and Jessie in January, to see Blue Man Group.

First a fun brunch.

The show was great -- one surprise that no one expected was I was dragged on stage by one of the Blue Men!

It was a great theatrical debut for me, and mercifully I didn't embarrass myself too much.

Later in Feburary, we went with friends to see a modern dance production featuring music from "Bach to David Bowie" at Roosevelt's Auditorium Theater.  Quite a show!

Oliver's band had a special performance at a competition in Batavia.

For President's Day Weekend, we booked a house in Galena Territory for the weekend and enjoyed a nice visit with friends and family, as well as skiing and some hot tub time.

We had a blast on the trails.  We all improved over last year and developed even more confidence in our skiing.  A lot of fun.

Luke was selected to play in the pit orchestra of the high school's winter musical, Mean Girls.

Oliver above finding out his Robotics team qualfied for the State Tournament.  Way to go, Oliver!

Gloria had two pieces selected for the school's art show.  Most kids didn't even have one chosen, so Gloria really did well!
