The second part of our trip to Oregon was just as amazing as our first part. After Bend, we headed south to Crater Lake.

Never have we seen water so blue!
We loved learning about this volcano now filled with rain and snow water -- no water flows in or out!
We loved looking at Wizard Island too.
We enjoyed a very informative ranger session on the history of Crater Lake.

After Crater Lake, we drove west to the Oregon Coast. First stop, Florence. We found a fun park with go carts!
and Bumper Boats! We got there just before it closed! A great place to stretch out after the long drive!
Then we checked out the amazing sand dunes that are right up against the ocean.

Florence, Oregon was a fun place to stop for the night.
We had maybe our best meal of the trip in Florence. Luke enjoying salmon.

We headed north on the coast, stopping at Cape Perpetua, where Captain Cook stopped. Gloria was sworn in as a junior ranger at the National Forest here.
We enjoyed exploring the coast after a nice hike.
We especially enjoyed exploring the tide pools.
