We've been derelict in updating the blog in recent weeks! Here are some photos from our recent fun, late summer weekends.
One weekend, we discovered a local toy store devoted exclusively to trains. A magical world indeed! Luke in blue and Oliver in green:
Another weekend was "Oak"tober Fest in nearby Oak Park. Parents enjoyed the beer, while the boys enjoyed cupcakes. Luke in first photo, Oliver in the second photo:
We also ran a 5k at the Brookfield Zoo! The boys loved zooming through the traffic in the stroller. Oliver in red and Luke in blue:
Another weekend, we enjoyed a visit to the shore of Lake Michigan near Lincoln Park visiting our friends Ellen and Paul. Luke in yellow and Oliver in green. The waves were amazing!
On yet another weekend, we visited our friends Teran and Sara near Rogers Park on Lake Michigan. There was a beach, so the boys were able to enjoy putting sand into buckets. Oliver in yellow, Luke in blue:
We also made another trip back to the farm, and got to see our cousins from Baltimore, as well as the Grimes family:

We also celebrated Mom's birthday!!! Happy Birthday, Mom!!! Oliver in yellow, Luke in blue.
We also got a visit from our dear friend Emily!
