2020 is off to quite the start! From a normal January and February to a surreal (for everyone) March and onward, we've been making memories we know we won't forget.

Two weeks ago, our normal out and about in the world lives changed along with just about everyone else's as the conoravirus pandemic caused us to rather radically change our daily routine. On Thursday, March 12 at 9 pm we found out our school was closing effective immediately. Chad's work was about to the the same. The next day, we found ourselves running an elementary school at home. Fortunately for us, the three students in our school are these great kids who have taken to it without missing a beat.
The newest location for Chad's law firm is now our kitchen table.
Fortunately for us this pandemic is happening when technology is at a level where Gloria can chat via video conference with her whole class.
Our church has closed, like most everything else, which is especially sad since Gloria is preparing for first communion. We have made the most of things though by having our own liturgical service on Sundays in our house, with Amy on piano, kids and me on instruments and all of us taking turns with the readings.
Through it all, we have our own front line champion we get to cheer for, Dr. Mom. We all could not be prouder of her hard work and devotion to her patients and to us. She has been keeping us all in order and sane and also running the show with her patients and students. We are so lucky to call her ours.

We sure are enjoying all our extra time together, three meals a day!
No doubt we won't forget this time, and certainly have a new appreciation for the world at large when this is all over.
