Spring Break 2022

This year for Spring Break we ventures to Southern Arizona to enjoy some nice warm weather and fun sights around Tucson.

Luke.

The kids wasted no time upon arrival at our hotel and got right into the pool.

This hotel featured a pool with a waterslide and a lazy river.

We found some amazing food in downtown Tucson.

Oliver.

Amazing view of the Tuscson Mountains and the lazy river from the hotel.

Poolside with Amy and Luke.

We enjoyed an amazing morning guided hike just outside the hotel in the Tucson Mountains, with incredible views and a chance to walk among the cacti.

What a great hike!

We made a fun visit to the Pima Air and Space Museum.  We all enjoyed it a great deal, but especially the boys who had been asking about going there for a long while.

An amazing musuem!

Nothing better after walking around a large outdoor museum in a desert than a Dairy Queen break.

Ouch!  Another hike the next day, this time on our own.  A touch cloudy, but still nice.

No problem!

Seems some blue angels or other planes from a nearby base were practicing right above us!

Monkey see...

We made a fun trip south of Tucson to Tombstone.

Lasso time!

We went to the OK Corral to see a reenactment of the Shootout with Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday and friends.

Very serious old-timers.

We made a visit to a desert museum near Tucson, with great wildlife, including hummingbirds and lots more.

We also got to visit the Titan Missile Museum.

What?  A TNG movie was filled here?!  Amazing!

Watch out, it might be loaded!

For our last couple of days, we headed up to the Phoenix area and enjoyed a couple days at the Blair family house in Queen Creek.

Some great nature preserves in the area, great for hikes while the boys went golfing with Uncle Al.

Great times at the Blair House, including more pool time!
A great trip with safe travels there and back.
