Fall 2025

This fall, the boys started their Junior Year of High School and Gloria started Eighth Grade.

Oliver and Luke.

A handful of days later, Gloria started 8th Grade.

Amy and her prize winning tomatoes.

We were thrilled to welcome guests from DC, our friends Emily and Mayme.

So fun to reconnect!

Somebody got her braces on this fall!

Looking sharp!

Fun night at the Marching Band showcase, where parents get instructed on marching from their players.  Oliver and Chad.

A little fall backyard hosting fun.

A corn shucking pro!

We made several visits back to the farm this fall.  Amy and Gloria enjoying a nice morning walk, back on Labor Day weekend.

Gloria with Grandma Blair.

Joe and Deb at Marc and Jessie.  Marc and Jessie hosted a fun Labor Day barbecue at their fun barn.

We celebrated Gloria's 13th birthday there too.

Oliver had a fun drone project that brought in help from Joe, Marc and Uncle Fred, who was also visiting.

A nice visit.

Birthday fun continued back in Oak Park.

An Italian dinner out for Gloria.

Amy and her deck garden -- looking great!

A brunch out on the town to celebrate Amy's birthday.

Luke and the marching band, about the take the field.

Amy and Gloria enjoyed several fun afternoons out, to drink tea and read books.

Chad made a quick trip back to Princeton for a grad school reunion with great friends, including Emily again!

Treasured friends, a great reunion.

We hosted the party before the boys' Homecoming Dance.

We invited parents over as well so all could get photos.  It was a beautiful night and a great gathering ahead of the dance.

Luke and his Homecoming Date, Geneva.

Oliver and Margot.

Luke had a nice band concert.

Oliver.

Amy had another nice visit back to the farm and celebrated Deb's birthday.

Luke had an event for a school club at the McDonald's Headquarters in the City, and Chad got to go too!  They served McDonald's food from around the world -- real fun!

We got the house all decked out for Halloween.

Hard to tell, but that is Luke in the Gorilla suit -- ready to terrorize little trick or treaters.

Amy made a nice ofrenda for the seasonal holidays.

Oliver as Top Gun.

Can't wait to give away some candy!

Lights up and running!

Oliver was really in the spirit -- a second custom!

Gloria had a number of soccer games this fall.  A lot of fun for us to cheer her on.

Luke had a fun Jazz Band concert.

After putting a lot of hours of hard work, Luke qualified for All District Band -- a huge accomplishment.  It was a real treat to get to attend his performance.

We had a weekend free, and Luke had interest in doing a college visit to a prospective college, so we trekked down to St. Louise to visit WashU.

We checked out the St. Louis Arch while there -- a beautiful fall weekend.

We also snuck in a quick visit to the capitol building in Springfield -- our first time through there.

Time for Fall leaf cleanup!

We made our annual visit to St. Eulalia's to help assemble food donation boxes ahead of Thanksgiving.

Gloria is getting tall, but Amy still maintains a height lead -- though I think Gloria has the momentum.

Luke played his clarinet at church.

A Thanksgiving feast for the record books!

Oliver made some delicious pretzel bread.

Luke made some exceptional fries.

What a feast!

After our home Thanksgiving, we headed back to the farm for more Thanksgiving Fun -- we stopped first at Uncle Bob and Aunt Martha's for the Blair Family Thanksgiving.  A great time.

Back at the Farm.

The kids love playing Monopoly at the farm.

Gloria is getting some driving training in on the farm with the Gator.
