Mid-Summer 2021

We enjoyed a great Father's Day with a visit to the Field Museum, starting first with a Culver's picnic by the Lake.

A great time by the Lake!

Before we enjoyed a nice breakfast on our deck.

We enjoyed traveling through millions of years of history at the Field Museum.

What a great Father's Day!

We made a little family get-away in late June for a few days at nice lake resort in Wisconsin, with lots of water activities, pools and open, fresh air.

Amy and Gloria enjoying some pool time.

Chad and Oliver.

We lucked out -- the night we arrived they had a special fire works show.  Amazing!

We rented a pontoon boat and enjoyed some time out on the open lake.

Amy served as our driver -- what a pro!

Oliver and Gloria braved the waters behind the boat.

Perhaps a little scary at times ...

... but mostly quite a thrill!

Luke had a good time behind the wheel.

We enjoyed some fun on this crazy ride.

We also enjoyed a little kayaking.

Luke, the mini-golf pro.

What a great get-away!

After our Wisconsin get-away, we headed to Blair Farms.  We spent the weekend there and then the kids got to spend some amazing time alone with their Grandma and Grandpa Blair.

We had fun following Joe and the boys out to the field to launch toy rockets.

We got a tour of Marc and Jessie's new barn.

Gloria got to meet the new kitty cats.

We enjoyed watching the fourth of July fireworks out near Warren in Stockton.

Amy and I were able to enjoy a quiet week back in Oak Park while the kids were at the farm.

Our guys turned 12!

Some fun with their friends.

A great card from Gloria.

What a fun birthday!
