Holiday Season 2024

We started off our Holiday Season by again volunteering at a local church, packing meals for Thanksgiving donations to area families.

We made it to Blair Farms for the weekend of Thanksgiving to extend the Thanksgiving fun.

The stars were beautiful on the farm, and we enjoyed looking through Oliver's telescopes and seeing many planets and their various moons.

Luke and Oliver both performed in the annual Prisms concert at the high school.  Another incredible show.

We had a nice Christmas in the City Day, with lunch downtown, walking along the storefronts, a trip to Millennium Park and tickets to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra's Christmas concert.

We spent our last day in Iowa with a day visit to Nevada and Ames.  First, a vanity visit to Nevada High School.

An important visit for some fantastic pizza.

Our main reason to visit central Iowa was to get to see Aunt Bea.  What a special visit.

What a great time in Iowa.

We then had a lovely couple of days at the Blairs celebrating Christmas.
